New Green Energy Solutions Company Set Up By Local High Legh Resident

When local High Legh resident Alan Little began looking around for a renewable energy solution for his family home, he didn’t find anything that met his family’s needs, so much so that he decided to set up his own company – Green Squirrel Energy. The company specialises in bespoke renewable energy solutions for the home. When asked about the reason for setting up the company, Alan said ‘after looking at what was out there on the market and inviting numerous businesses into my home, we found that most companies didn’t listen enough to our needs or provide relevant what we were looking for. We were looking for a provider that could offer a ‘one stop shop’ solution across a number of different areas. We knew that we wanted solar power panels on the roof to help future proof our energy requirements. We’d also just bought a new electric car and were interested in being able to charge this ourselves on our drive”. Alan, an experienced business entrepreneur then decided to set up Green Squirrel Energy, a one stop shop for the design, installation and management of all renewable energy. The team of experts he has brought together have a combined experience across the energy sector of over 60 years. Alan goes on to say ‘the team’s combined experience led to a new approach for the provision of renewable energy. Products we offer include: solar, battery, air source heat pump and water heating technology. I believed in the products so much, that I decided to make my own family home Green Squirrel Energy’s first major project. This represented a project sum of circa £20k and helped transform my home into achieving NET ZERO emissions with a combination of solar, heat pump and my energi technology.” The key products that Green Squirrel Energy offer are summarised below:
